“ This place adds weight to the adage you can't judge a book by its cover. Doesn't look like much from the outside but once inside it opens up to warm and friendly atmosphere. Definitely, a place to come to with a group of friends if you're into sports. Food was good and decently priced. Service was friendly despite it being crazy busy when we went in. Nothing too fancy on the menu but everything they make they make well. ”
“ I won't lie, when I was told by a co worker while in the area for training that we should go to Jake's for dinner, I was skeptical given the outside appearance; I'll call it what it looks like, a dive bar. But some of the best places for food are the dives and or holes in the wall. Service was excellent. Food was surprisingly good (inferno burger and homemade fries). My only complaint was the fries seemed soggy; be that over cooked, undercooked, or old I'm not sure. Price was reasonable. I would honestly recommend this place to anyone looking for good service and an overall good atmosphere. ”
“ While this is standard "bar" food it is pretty good. The staff was great- provided us some fun and played along with all of our joking with each other. We had a group of 10 and they took great care of us. We ordered a whole lot of different stuff, including appetizers. The fried mushrooms were pretty good as were the fried pickles. No one complained about their food. I did order the Inferno Burger. It was pretty good, kind of a small patty and it was not hot, but had a good overall flavor. Given the limited eating choices we had (Covid Oct 2020) it wasn't too bad and I would eat there again. ”
“ Really great spot with excellent food and drinks and the ambience was awesome. Annette was our server and she was great. The Chislic was absolutely amazing and the Mountain mule was hands down the baddest ass drink. Will definitely, definitely going back for more ”
“ The place is not awesome. It is rundown and poorly kept. I breakdown my ratings basically under 3 categories. Food, service and place. So for the location I would give it to an a half stars because the place needs a good cleaning and it's old and unkept. For service I would give it a five because the staff is very friendly very helpful and very efficient. My steak was cooked to perfection nice and hot and juicy. The baked potatoe was cooked perfect also. It was very simple but good. So they would get five stars also for the food. The music selection is horrible playing some kind of punk rock music. ”
“ The burger was homemade, so good! The wings were cooked perfectly and the sweet buffalo sauce was the best buffalo sauce I've ever had. Top it off with a Bloody Mary! Super delish ”
“ I don't know what it is about this place that keeps bringing me back. It's kind of a dive, they have cheap drinks and an OK beer selection. I guess I just answered my first question. This place is a bit off the beaten path, doesn't have the best scenery around it and could use a little updating. However, none of that will stop me from checking in again. Get the Chislic! ”
